| Outlook Email SMTP Authentication Setup |
| Note: This document is intended for those customers that would like to use
an email server other than starliteinternet.com as their primary email. It will walk you through how
to use your existing email configuration in Outlook to relay your mail through the starliteinternet.com mail server. |
- With Outlook open, click Tools on the menu bar and choose Email Accounts.
- Select View or change existing e-mail accounts and click Next.
- Select your email account and click Change.
- Click the More Settings button.
- Click the Outgoing Server tab.
- Put a check mark next to My Outgoing Server (SMTP) Requires Authentication.
- Click the 'Log on using:' radio button.
- In the User Name and Password fields enter the same id and password you were given with your dial up or ISDN set up.
- Ensure that "Remember password" is checked
- Click OK.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
